Group Show Application

Information

  • Submissions will be reviewed on an ongoing basis by the exhibition committee.

  • Artists interested in being considered for a solo exhibition must be members of the Chesterton Art Center.

  • The individual artist is responsible for hanging and labeling their show.

  • Chesterton Art Center takes 30% commission on works sold during the exhibit.

  • There is no fee to have an exhibit, except for being a member of the Chesterton Art Center.

  • We accept proposals in digital form only gallery@chestertonart.com.

  • All media will be considered.

  • Artists will be notified of their application status within 30 days.

  • Typically exhibits are scheduled 1 to 2 years out.

Please send the following to gallery@chestertonart.com:

  • Who are the officers?

  • History of the group?

  • How is the group structured? Tell us about your membership.

  • Past exhibits?

  • Awards and grants?

  • Contact information should include contact name, phone number, website and social media information.

  • Do you have an upcoming exhibit in the area?

Exhibit Proposal: 2 to 5 sentences about the proposed exhibit. In addition, please tell us why you would like to exhibit at the Chesterton Art Center.

Digital Images: 10 images in .jpg format at least 300 dpi. Please make sure your images include the following

  • Title

  • Artist

  • Dimensions of artwork

  • Medium of artwork
