Guided Autobiography/ Feb 19- April 9
WHEN: 8-week class / Wednesday February 19- April 9 from 1-3 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Have you ever thought about the stories that string together to make up your life? Have you ever wanted to write them down, to leave legacy? Instructor Laurie Wink will guide you through this life enhancing journey of self-discovery; with each class, students will be prompted to write down the stories of their lives, two pages at a time. Writing will take place outside of class time; during class, students will: partake in exercises to stir memories and stimulate creativity, share stories in a small group setting, receive feedback and have fun while sharing life experiences.
Laurie is certified as a Guided Autobiography instructor by the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies. Gerontologist Dr. James Birren developed the Guided Biography technique over 40 years ago at the University of Southern California.
SKILL LEVEL: No previous writing experience required. All skill levels welcome.

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
