Landscape Drawing II/ May 7-28
WHEN: 4-class session / Wednesday, May 7-28 from 10 AM-12 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: In this continuation class with Diana Stezalski, both new and returning students will have the opportunity to further develop their observational drawing skills by capturing the beauty of local landscapes. This class builds on foundational techniques, focusing on refining line, tone, perspective, and composition while encouraging personal artistic growth. Students will work with a range of media, including ink pens, charcoal, pastel, and graphite, and will explore advanced exercises to deepen their understanding of the natural world around them. Students should be prepared to walk to outdoor locations and work en plein air, weather permitting.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / All skill levels welcome
LOCATION: Upstairs classroom + outdoors
TUITION: $125 for non-members / $112.50 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount
SUPPLIES: Students are expected to bring the following supplies:
Vine charcoal (soft and medium)
Charcoal pencil
White chalk pencil
Black conte stick
1 bristle brush
Plumb line (simply a piece of string/fishline with a weight attached to it)
Small mirror
Fixative (optional)
Sketchbook (optional)

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
