Summer Art Camp: Fun with Fiber: Knitting / JUL 7-11
WHEN: 5-day session / July 7-11 from 8:30-11 AM
AGES: 9-12
INSTRUCTOR: Mary Ann Martin
DESCRIPTION: Let’s learn to knit! Students will explore the traditional craft of knitting and the modern ways this fiber process has regained popularity amongst all ages. Lessons will cover the many different fiber types, proper methods for knitting with needles or a loom, and various stitching techniques. Students will then create a series of neat knit projects ranging from small decorative toys to functional garments.
CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
