Charm of Colored Pencils / Jan 21-Feb 11
WHEN: 4-class session / Tuesday, January 21 - February 11 from 5:30-7:30 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: With guidance from Emily Casella, this class will cover the vast properties of contemporary colored pencils. Students will learn in-depth color mixing, experiment with different mark making styles and shading techniques, and explore the unique ways colored pencils can express abstract emotions or mimic objects from real life. Each class will begin with a skill exercise, followed by independent work time as students execute a session-long project of their choosing. Whether you are just beginning or have a long-standing relationship with colored pencils, you will be charmed by this versatile + colorful media!
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / All levels are welcome
LOCATION: Upstairs classroom

SUPPLIES: Students are expected to bring the following supplies:
Colored Pencil set that has at least 12 color pencils (Prismacolor or Arteza brand recommended)
Blending pencil
Vinyl Eraser

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
