After School Sculpture: April/ Food Sculpture
WHEN: 4-class session / Monday, April 7-28, from 4:30-6:00 PM
AGES: 8-12
DESCRIPTION: Students of the March session of After School Sculpture will learn basic ceramic techniques from local ceramicist Allyce Ebert. In this fun class, students will use coil, pinch and slab methods to create a whimsical sculpture of their favorite foods. Once constructed, students will have the chance to glaze their bank and the Center will fire it.
After School Sculpture class is offered every month from September-May for ages 8-12. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 3D media such as clay, plaster, paper mache, or mixed materials. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
