Mosaic II: Groutless Mosaic / May 30
WHEN: 1 day workshop / Friday, May 30 from 6:30-9 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: With guidance from Amanda Burton, get ready to take your mosaic skills to the next level! In this class, students will experiment with a groutless mosaic technique, creating unique, textured pieces using a variety of mixed materials like stones, wire, beads, and more—all set on non-glass backgrounds. It’s a perfect opportunity to get creative and explore new ways to bring depth and dimension to your work.
You’ll learn how to use thinset instead of traditional glue, allowing you to play with different elevations and create visually dynamic designs. This class focuses on expanding your mosaic horizons by incorporating a variety of materials and textures to give your piece a unique, multi-dimensional feel.
SKILL LEVEL: Prerequisite: Must have completed Glass on Glass Mosaic Workshop, or receive approval from the instructor.

CAC CANCELLATION POLICY: No refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. No credits will be given the day class is to start or after the start of the educational program. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
