After School Art: May: To the Seas!

DESCRIPTION: Ahoy, young artists! Join instructor Jen Aitchison Dive into a world of adventure and creativity as we set sail across the vibrant seas! In this exciting class, kids will explore the breathtaking beauty of the ocean through fun, colorful painting techniques. Younger classes will create their own magnificent ships, while older students will learn how to make waves come to life with exciting color blends, shapes, and energy.
As we sail through art history, students will discover the works of famous artists like Winslow Homer, Claude Monet, and Charles Vickery, taking inspiration from their stunning seascapes to create their very own ocean masterpieces. Whether you’re capturing the crashing waves or the peaceful calm of the sea, this class will help you unlock your imagination and make a splash with your artwork!
After School Art classes are offered every month from September-May for ages 5-16. During each 4-class monthly session, students will explore an arts-related topic, movement, or technique through a variety of 2D media such as watercolor, pastel, graphite, acrylic, or printmaking. Because each monthly session offers a different theme and set of projects, families are welcome to register for one session, a few, or the whole year!

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
